Want to create a console application in SharePoint 2013

Hi All,

I had created a lot of console applications for a lot of reuirements in SharePoint 2010 

Now I want to create console application in SharePoint 2013 

Here I am trying to create a console application which uses serve side code 

Till now I havent found any link which explains how to create a console application in SharePoint 2013 

Please let me know can console applications be created in SharePoint 2013 ? 

If yes, please share any reference URL
