Hello,
We are receiving an "An error has occurred on the server." error with correlation id etc when we try to log in to view any Napa App project file from Visual Studio. We see this from all dev machines that try to use Developer site collections in a specific tenant. If we try the same thing pointing to a different Office 365 tenant, then things work as expected and we can log in and see/edit project files.
Problem Office 365 Tenant is our main business subscription that went through the upgrade process last month. The tenant we tried that worked was shared with me temporarily just to try and repro. Again our tenant fails to log in from VS 2012, but the same client machine can log into the different tenant's dev site app projects.
Repro steps:
- Go to O365 SP tenant admin and view site collections
- Create a new private site collection and use the Developer site template, use site collection admin account for steps below
- Add Napa and trust it etc
- Create new app and view it in Napa web authoring
- click on the "Open in Visual Studio" link button
- When VS 2012 is loaded select a file to view in VS
- When asked to log in... do that using site collection admin account
Result is "An error has occurred on the server."
I have an open SR and they are investigating, but the support tech suggested posting here as well.
Anyone have suggestions/ things to try on my side?
Thanks,
Rob
