Issue at Creating External List Using Stored Procedure in SharePoint APP

I have tried to create an External List using stored procedure Using SharePoint App.I have referred the below msdn link and use the sample code.(SharePoint 2013 Create external lists based on app-scoped external content type)

But this sample only  Using the DB Table entities to create the External List,and not using the Stored procedure.I have checked all other Sharepoint APP development sites,they all are described and used the Table entity type method to create an external list.

I hope it is possible to create and External list using Stored Procedure using APP, because we can create an  External List using SP Designer in the simple way,so it is also possible to create it by a Sharepoint APP.

Please let me know Is there any other way to create an external list using Sharepoint APP and Point out the Right Direction.
